Six miles from downtown Waco sits World Hunger Relief. The farm serves as a hub for education, innovation, and community engagement. At its core, the center embodies the ethos of sustainability, striving to cultivate a harmonious relationship between humanity and the natural world.
At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to cultivating a food system that not only sustains but thrives—one that honors the land, uplifts local farmers, and nourishes every member of our community. Through hands-on education and experiential learning, we empower individuals to become stewards of the land, equipped with the knowledge and skills to grow their own food in harmony with nature.
The center offers a diverse range of programs and initiatives aimed at addressing the root causes of hunger while promoting sustainable agricultural practices. From hands-on farming experiences to workshops on permaculture and organic gardening, visitors have the opportunity to learn practical skills that empower them to grow their own food in environmentally friendly ways.
Moreover, the center serves as a research hub, conducting experiments and trials to develop innovative agricultural techniques suited to the unique challenges of the region.
